「This home stay was lovely - relaxing and beautiful. The hosts were so kind and nice. They made us lunch when we checked in which was delicious! The dinner was also great (250k pax charge) with lots of fish and shellfish dishes. Breakfast was huge as well! Very nice stay, we wish we had a little longer to explore but our flight was delayed.」

「We loved our stay in Cat Ba! Linda was an amazing host and the staff were so helpful. We had the most delicious hot pot there one evening. Linda helped us with all our planning. It had a quaint garden with puppies running around, and monkeys howling in the distance. A/C worked and our daughter swam in the pool at night. Would recommend if looking for a homestay in the area!」

「The hotel aims to be a diverse resort, but the actual management appears chaotic and inefficient. Staff lack proper training in service, hygiene, and English proficiency, and the maintenance of hotel facilities is poor. Overall, the hygiene standards of the rooms and restaurant do not reach five-star levels, and the quality does not match the price. Unfortunately, this is currently the only upscale hotel on the island.」

「Green Homestay was the perfect place to stay on Cat Ba island. We were greeted by Hana who is so lovely and helpful and really made our stay perfect. We were able to arrange activities right from the homestay which was very convenient. The property is absolutely beautiful with a great pool and garden area. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood a short walk away from a couple bars and restaurants and was the perfect location for a quieter and relaxing stay.

「The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. There were spiders and a centipede in the room but it was fine once we removed the critters. Lots of farm sounds with roosters, barking dogs...
