「Great find spotlessly clean good location. About 15 min walk to centre and £5, taxi back. Breakfast was lovely and all waitress service. Very polite staff. We were on the top floor, room was fine. Nice touches were robes and slippers and a rarity, a decent shaving/make up mirror so easy to apply make up. So clean too. I would definitely recommend this hotel. 」

「We loved our stay here, it was so near to whitby centre. The room was good, a negative is no where to dry towels. We had to ask for more coffee and sugar, as we were staying three nights. We will recomnend a stay at Penny Hedge. Staff could not do enough for us , all very friendly and polite. We will come again now we know of the hotel . Caroline and Laura were helpful , we rang because we could not quite find your location on our sat nav. staff helped us on this matter and then found you...
