「Great place and host, would highly recommend」

「The hotel had a 'run down' feeling and we were disappointed that there was no breakfast on offer.」

「Have stayed a number of times when visiting the area. Would highly recommend it」

「Property lovely, high standard interior. Staff on reception felt a little awkward as if on guard sat at a desk near the stairs but were always friendly. Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. Upon leaving our car was covered in tree sap but it will wash off. We stayed for 4 days and no one came into our room to empty our bins, replenish toiletries or restock the hot drink...

「I had an excellent experience. The landlord, Qin, was very enthusiastic and helpful in solving our problems. The property I stayed in was located on the first floor, right next to the reception. The room wasn’t very big but was cozy and warm. It had a bathtub with plenty of hot water available. The Wi-Fi wasn’t lightning-fast, but it was sufficient—I even managed to host a phone meeting one morning. The bed and bedding were exceptionally comfortable and clean. 「The room is clean and WiFi is quick. The personnel is very nice.」

「Loved everything as always amazing」

「NICE STAFF GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY, CAR PARKING ok SHOWER PRESSURE NOT GOOD」

「Good location and close to old town, parking available with limited space. Good breakfast and the attitude of hosts are cool. Hosts didn't allow to extend the parking to 2-3 hours after check out at 1000. Their check in time is after 1500 and the hosts reject the request looks cold attitude. It's the first time we didn't allow the parking extension we stayed in UK for past 5 stops.」

「The property is very central and has easy access to the city centre. The room was spacious but the pub is quite loud at night and you could hear the music until past midnight. You were just given a key and shown where the room was and that was it. The room only had a bath and I wasn’t aware of that」

「Sophie and Paul were most gracious hosts; genuinely kind and friendly and eager to make my stay enjoyable. The breakfasts were excellent, made with fresh ingredients and prepared as their guests preferred. I would definitely stay here again. 」

「Good stay - if the car park is full, space can be found on nearby side streets. Nice comfortable room and good breakfast served with flexible times. Just be aware they host a lot of live music, and it isn't a big building so expect to head down and join the crowd!」

「Great stay. Lovely clean rooms with great views. Very nice breakfast and friendly and helpful host. And pub with good food (and prices) just a stone's throw away. Would highly recommend.」

「佈置溫馨的小酒館旅店，主人非常友善，房間設計很典雅，早餐非常棒，走路到大教堂、肉舖街大約10分鐘。下次來約克一定會再選擇！」
