"Good location, not far from anywhere in the city centre. Room to my taste but not my partner's (he likes a 'box' I prefer features and interesting spaces!) Reception staff very helpful, including booking us a taxi to the airport the following morning - although we experienced some confusion over where we were to meet the driver! Mattress too firm for me and more pillows would have been good, with the wooden 'headboard' behind us. Generally well maintained although our bathroom needed some maintenance including the toiletries holder on the wall which was falling off!! We weren't there for long enough to comment much more. Good restaurant next door in the light, Estabulo, where we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal"

"This is an excellent hotel in a lovely setting. Our room was very comfortable & clean with 2 armchairs that you don’t usually get in other hotels. All the staff are very polite, friendly & efficient. The restaurant, bar & lounge areas are nicely decorated & comfortable."

"Lovely welcome upon arrival. Bar and waiting staff were very polite and tentative. Breakfast was great, wide variety to choose from. Location was excellent and the amenities around were very accessible. We will certainly come back and stay when visiting Leeds again."
