Castellammare di Stabia is a wonderful town perfectly placed between Pompeii and Sorrento. The restaurants are excellent and along the water. With the Biu close to the train, shore and shops. "We booked that place for one night. After a while the host wrote to us not to come and that there were no room available. Under such circumstances I asked the host to cancel my reservation in order I could book another place. But the host refused to do that! So, I wonder if the host is a fraudster or simply irresponsible person, who doesn’t update calendar."

"This hotel is extremely dated, run down and in major need of refurbishment. The only thing remarkable was the view. Our rooms were absolutely disgusting. I have never seen a folding chair in a hotel room, a dirty futon, a side table that was 6” off the floor, broken shower handle you could cut your hand on… and so on. There was a cigarette burn on the counter, no coffee maker, and the hair dryer wasn’t even good enough to dry your nails! When I asked for a washcloth they told me, “we don’t provide those.” What?! Who brings their own washcloth to a hotel?! Breakfast buffet was subpar, and the head server was rude. The hallways are completely run down, so much so I almost tripped on the stairs because the carpet was torn. There mate too many other nice places to stay. I would never recommend this hotel."
