「The grounds and accomodations are very nice. The complain has to do with the two main restaurants. One can expect based on the beautiful and elegant settings a much better meal experience even more considering the prices. We had dinner at Alpine Hall and room service from Tipsy Trout and we just can't recomend them. It is advisable to seak a nice meal experience elsewhere.」

「Rooms are clean and well-situated for a batch of ski gear. The pool and hot tub are delightful and the grounds are plentiful and back right onto the river. The food at the restaurant is delicious and quick. Above all, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful at this independently-owned hotel. Can't wait to stay here again! 」

「Wife and I came for a wedding and stayed here after for a few days in Vermont. The Essex Resort was a great home base for our travel, it felt so peaceful and the staff was beyond friendly. We felt taken care of during a time we wanted rest. We ate at Lazy Goat Tavern, walked the resort, and enjoyed the hot tub in our room (not all rooms have this).」

「You will never see me again giving full 5 star review ever again. When i drive up there its look farm side but Stowe itself was beautiful and hotel was extremely clean and staff was friendly. Pool looked clean and its had a good gym. I didn’t had time to try their lunch but its has to be good as hotel itself.」

「 Because of flight delays we were very late getting to the hotel. The front desk clerk was there to open the front door. She quickly got us to our room. The room was clean and comfy. We were able to get a late checkout because I’m a Bonvoy member. It was a great experience. 」

「Great place to spend time with family and friends. Lots of options to keep everyone entertained (tennis court, indoor kids play area, several pools including heated one, volleyball and basketball court, small coffee shop and restaurant and tons of activities prepared by hotel staff). 「The town in itself is a mini Switzerlamd, and Snowflake Resort added to the enchanting beauty of Stowe, VT. Room was huge for four guests. Breakfast was good. The place is walkable; although you need a car to explore the history and culture of the place. If not driving and taking the train or airplane, be sure to reserve an Uber ride in advance. Overall, it’s a place you will surely come back to.」
