「Nice facility. A bit of a mistake with first room key. Opened the room and someone else was already there. Got a new key without a problem but a little disconcerting! 」

「Place was new and everything was nice. Lobby, breakfast area and room was clean. Breakfast was good with the usual variety for a free hotel breakfast. Parking was easy. Only two consecutive comments: 1- the three wheeled luggage carts were a pain to use and didn’t hold enough luggage, and 2- for being in Vermont, the maple syrup at breakfast was a huge disappointment. It was cheap and basically tinted corn syrup. 」

「Honestly, after a number of disappointing stays recently, we weren't expecting much so we could avoid being disappointed. But, we were anything but. We were in the maple room, which had private access to outside, a nice living room, a small kitchen (no stove), a large bedroom and very comfortable bed, and a semi small bathroom that was laid out well. 「Parking is very convenient and accessible. Breakfast foods were the average fare one would typically find in a hotel setting and was fresh. The property was very clean and the rooms are spacious. 」

「The room is clean and the position is quite good for Costco and Starbucks are quite near. But the basin in the bathroom is really small, besides, water in the pool is not very clean. 」

「Very welcoming inn. The staff was super helpful. Our room was very nice and clean. It was just as represented in the photographs. We had some down time and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit at the end of a ski day and then read for a while in the common space before dinner reservations. The entire place was very warm and comfortable. Plenty of on site parking and easy access to the mountain shuttle and the village center. We loved it! 」

「The Old Stagecoach Inn is not an ultra modern hotel and not trying to be. Expect nicely appointed old VT charm, a nice central gathering area with a wood burning fire and comfy chairs + games and puzzles. This is for sure - the breakfasts are really truly great. In the evening, walking access to Waterbury restaurants is also a big win. 」
