「This is a unique former farmhouse and Inn built around 1790. The staff was helpful and the place spotless. Note the part about it being from 1790s...the floor sloped, stairs and some walls were obviously well worn, and our room was smaller than you would get at a chain hotel. This added to the charm and made it so cool. We were hoping to see a ghost but nope...nothing but good vibes and hospitality. Breakfast was made to order and was excellent. The bedding was first class and everything...

「Everything with the room itself was great. It was clean and in a great location. My issue with this reservation was the amenities. They are not inlcluded. So even though the listing says they have pools and hot tubs, don't expect to be able to use them unless you pay more when you get there. This should be made clear to anyone that books at this resort. 」

「The Lodge is family owned. The owners and their employees were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The breakfast was made to order and very good. The indoor pool area was cute with a bridge going over the pool. The lodge was exactly what I was hoping it would be with its charm and family feel.」

「The property was beautiful and staff were wonderful. I loved the easy proximity to the Stowe path and it’s on one of the most scenic river sections. The room was spacious and bed extremely comfortable. We stayed on the first floor and had access to outside which we loved as it accommodated our busy in and out schedule. The breakfast was fantastic and was a fabulous start to our day! I would have rated a 5 but there were two downfallls 1. The hot tub was milky so did not use but we honestly...
