10/10 Excellent

"Overall this is a 5 star Hotel. The room was great and housekeeping was excellent, the breakfast staff and food choices at the buffet were good to accommodate anyone's taste and preferences, the coffee machine was down on our last day but the staff was quick to make our coffee of choice and bring it to our table. The staff was very good when I had question about the Metro service, which we took advantage of since the taxi fees can add up quick, it is a great way to get around and sometimes quicker than a taxi due to traffic. Easy once you figure out the entry and exit, and destinations to get around anywhere in Barcelona. The only shortcoming was at the check in when we arrived early due to coming in of a cruise ship, we had to wait until check in time which was 3PM, we arrived around 9AM. The lobby was full of people waiting on their room and no one was let in until it was time not one minute before, Being a little tired and not really being familiar with the area we just waited hoping they would call us in early, but it did not happen. Would highly recommend since it is very nice and close enough to all the areas of interest."

"I booked a single (1 twin bed) room, but was given a spacious room with a king bed. I believe occupancy was low. I was disappointed that the airport shuttle had very limited hours, which was not revealed until after booking. I was able to take the shuttle to the airport, but had to get a cab from the airport. The shuttle driver dropped me (the only passenger) at the wrong end of the departure zone, near the doors that were closed because of renovations or something. I'm sure he did it for his convenience, as there were no other vehicles in the immediate area where he stopped. I questioned his choice, but he said it was the right place. No, it was not!"

"What was unique about this location is that there is a fully functioning spa downstairs. The services are not included in the price of the room, but the convenience is amazing and the masseuse is great. The pools are classic, although some may think they are dated. They are clean, large, and everything works; the saunas are clean and hot. The front desk receptionists are friendly and helpful and there is always cold water and fruit available, gratis. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel is quiet. Great choice."
