"It is a beautiful setting, like living in a museum. As with many hotels, it is the smaller points that separate a very good from a great hotel. Do understand this is a very good hotel but I would highlight a few negatives that keep it from being a great one: 1. 4th floor"

"Was initially given a room with a view of a wall in a internal courtyard. After complaining they gave me a higher floor with a partial view of the city. Hotel is wedged into an awkward spot so only premium rooms have views. Pool was closed. Location v central but too many ppl there"

"Loved how convenient this was to Atocha train station and to The Prado and Reina Sofia museums. Rooms were simple and small but clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful. Liked the luggage storage for the day after we checked out. "
