The view was amazing. The room was very clean. Great food and drinks. The night life was very fun. There needs to be more pool chairs. We had to get to the pool around 6:30 in the morning to get a pool lounger for the day. The lounger tables were dirty most days and some of the umbrellas need to be repaired. Other than those few things, we really enjoyed our time. We would most likely stay again.

I booked swim out, oceanfront room that‘s 2X more than the standard room. The room I was in was at the very end of the resort, oceanview was blocked by huge plants in front of the room. The building (building 7) was doing some maintenance/renovation work, and i was bothered by constant noise from the work, my room was smelling like paint and no apologies from the hotel at all. I’ve sent 4 e-mails to the hotel explaining the situation and no replies at all.

February 2026 Breathless is breathtaking! Butlers Esteohania and Gamboa were beyond accommodating and always available with any questions we had. They made our honeymoon/anniversary so very special. ❤️ The pool staff at the Xhale Pool were amazing. Fun atmosphere with games, music, activities … no boredom! We were served amazing drinks by Edwin and Roger, and the Cabana guys were so great. Victor (thank you thank you we will miss you!) had our cabana bed always ready for us with a smile and Vicente made us feel welcome. All the guys were funny and friendly. Above all, were were extremely thankful for the doctor in house, Sergio. Saved our trip! Can’t say enough. We will absolutely return to this resort. It’s laid back when you want it to be, a pretty good party bar, and the foooood was incredible. Entertainment was unique each night. A fair value for the money. Extra points for a swim out river off the patio, room cleanliness, and just all around fun and hospitable environment. Loved the raccoons, iguanas, and birds just beautiful! ☀️🫶🏻

The whole resort is beautiful! I love everything was so centrally located. You didn’t have to walk all over the resort for food

I enjoyed my stay at Breathless Riviera Cancun! I stayed in the Xcelerate Swim Out room with a tropical room. The room was spacious and clean. I enjoyed all of the entertainment that the resort had to offer

Check in was smooth. Staff were polite, friendly and attentive. Service was wonderful. I think common areas like the buffet area could be more modernized. Resort was well kept and clean.

The resort was great, clean, small enough to get around easily, but spaced out enough to give it a larger resort feel. All the restaurants are located centrally which is very nice. Drinks were delicious and delivered with good service. All the staff were very friendly at all times. Our room was nice, comfortable and private. We wish the swim up suite water would have been more like a hot tub, we would have used it more. The only negative about the whole experience was not really a resort problem. Every night we experienced very loud guests banging on doors and screaming in the hallways. At midnight, 1am, 3am, 4am. It did seem to be “taken care of” fairly quickly but went on long enough to make us wide awake. Night noise was our only complaint. Of mention: Edwin and Abby were excellent poolside with service!

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this resort. The online ratings are very misleading and did not reflect the reality of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we encountered multiple issues. There was no hot water in our room for the entire trip, forcing us to take cold showers. The HVAC system also did not work. Although maintenance came and claimed it was fixed, it never worked properly, and we had to sleep in uncomfortable, cold conditions. The swim-up pool was dirty, which was very disappointing given the cost of the stay. Additionally, my card was double charged. Even after it was proven to be a duplicate charge, the resort has refused to issue a refund, which is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, some staff members displayed behavior that felt discriminatory and unwelcoming. The overall customer service did not meet basic hospitality standards. The food overall was not good, with the exception of the hibachi restaurant, which was the only enjoyable dining experience. This resort is absolutely not worth the money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here.
