"The parking is down the street in a lot. It was very easy to get in with the door code given. It was also very quiet and had a cool atmosphere."

"This is a beautiful and cozy place to stay. It is a walkable distance from a downtown area and felt like a safe part of town to be in. The room we stayed in was comfortable and very unique. Everyone that we ran into in the common areas that was also staying there was very friendly. Definitely recommend staying here."

"The Kuerig coffee maker was dirty as was the coffee space. The toilet handle had to be jiggled to work properly. Parking was good! Staff was okay but could have been more accommodating and courteous."

"The hotel is old with nostalgia. There were no amenities specifically for AlphaKappaAlpha as our 5 day convention was going on. The hotel can really use more upgrading. There was no complementary breakfast and I was told we should go next door to the Fairfield hotel for that. The food on the rooftop of the Elayton was very good. Over all, I give the hotel 3 stars. I was a little disappointed because the hotel did not honor the AKA convention rate and it was not worth the cost. "
