「The hotel is very new next to the new stadium sports complex which is one year old. There was some problems with the shower door and safe but the staff quickly moved us to another room. Breakfast and room service were very good. The shower has excellent strong water pressure and air cons work very well. You have to get a taxi into the centre of stone town which will cost you USD15 each way, but it is worth for the convenience of being away from the hustle and bustle - it was peaceful. 」

「Perhaps there are better rooms, but our room ( nadia) is very noisy throughout our stay. Not just u could hear people shouting and chirldren playing and car horns, but the worst is that there are some sort of aircon machines right outside yr window so u can also hear the engine sound. There are too many more quiet but equally convenient boutique hotels in Stonetown but since we had already paid so we could not change hotel. DONT TRUST THE COMMENTS ANY MORE FROM HOTELS.COM! (P.S. 「if you’re in Stone Town, this is definitely a great place to stay. Beach is nearby. Manager is amazing, he provided someone with an umbrella, let me borrow a charger adapter, gave me a map of the town, helped me get to the beach, offered complimentary drink & I was able to check in early. I loved it here so much. The rooftop was amazing, the food was excellent & the staff was friends. I felt safe here & very welcomed. Thank you for hosting me!」

「Top notch, wonderful experience! Grounds are gorgeous and creative! Everyone there is helpful and friendly. Loved the room and the fact it had an outdoor shower! Food was delish and fresh. I could go on and on! My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!」

「Incredibly historic building with unique individually decorated rooms! Perfect location for walking around Stonetown. Delicious breakfast served on rooftop! Request Belle room if you don't want a lot of stairs. It has a huge balcony along the front of the building so it's fun to see tourists stop and take photos!」
