The resort is perfect for a quick stay. Not long term. The breakfast didn’t have many options. The staff were really nice and very helpful. Room service was ok the best thing we had was the chicken wings. They also offered late check out for an extra cost which was great because we had a late flight.

The customer service of the staff in restaurant and front desk is outstanding. The housekeeping is great with the cleaning. The maintenance of bathroom is not adequate because the sink faucet is falling apart in room 204.
Safe is not secured or bolted down.

Decent hotel. Staff are very nice & very polite, Simon on reception is very helpful. Breakfast was amazing , can't talk about dinner. The ocean view remains amazing. Waking up to the sound of ocean If you are looking for a quite place but not so far from all the buzz of Stonetown. This is the hotel for you in Zanzibar

hotel is beautiful, rooms are great and the staff is excellent (perhaps some English language weakness BUT nothing significant). Area around the hotel is not super walkable BUT it is not far from Stone Town (20 minute taxi ride - US$10 to US$20). View from top floor restaurant is amazing and the food is pretty good. I would recommend highly. i would stay here again.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. We liked that it was in a quiet area about 15 min to Stone Town by taxi. The room was large and we enjoyed the pool that looked out over the ocean. Buffet breakfast offered a variety of dishes and the coffee was awesome! We really enjoyed our stay.

Not as expected

Staff was friendly, the food was okay, besides the ceasar salad that was sub par. Hotel shop had expired products (should really review the stock) bought a pepsi that was expired 6 months ago. The pool area was nice, but the water in the pool felt dirty, even though just being cleaned. Would also be transparant to mention that the hotel is just NeXT to a mosque, that kept us awake all night due to non stop activity.
