Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, der Pool wegen dem wir die Unterkunft gebucht hatten war fast leer und nur mit 30 cm grün-braunem Wasser gefüllt. Das Personal hat auf unsere Nachfragen daraufhin nur so getan als wäre nichts und gemeint wir könnten ganz normal dort schwimmen. Am Strand dort war der einzige Strand auf der ganzen Insel an dem sich Müll angesammelt hat. Ein Frühstücks-Buffet gab es auch keines, nur eine kleine zusammengestellte Karte auf der wir wählen konnten. Das Essen war nicht sonderlich gut, einmal haben wir ein Beef-filet bestellt, welches garantier kein Filet war - wenn es überhaupt Beef war (mein Freund ist Koch, aber auch ich konnte das sofort erkennen), dafür war es uns einfach zu teuer.

Stayed there the last day of my stay in Zanzibar and I’m never going back.. management need to up their game. No urgency, Poor reception, rooms too outdated, plugs need to be changed to multi sockets, water takes forever to warm up somehow, food average!! I really didn’t enjoy the 15 hours I spent there!

This property was ok I did not appreciate the arrival process how I like the spacious room and cleaning. I did not appreciate on an occasion the kitchen messing up the food. Also the area is not a safe area to walk around in

I was disappointed with my stay. I requested a late check-out for 2 PM, but the hotel charged me $40 for this, which felt unreasonable. The location is also far from the city center (about a 30-minute taxi ride, which is expensive) and the surrounding area feels unsafe and poorly lit. The breakfast was very disappointing – unhealthy options with limited choices. The balcony door in my room was weak and seemed easy to break open, which made me feel insecure. Additionally, the staff provided incorrect information during my stay, which caused confusion. Overall, the experience was not worth the cost, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We did enjoy the quite of the resort and staff. Anthony and his team in hospitality where excellent for what they had to work with. The Chef and Anthony created a wonderful meal for us on the waterfront viewing the sunset. Magnificent! The waterfront suites where comfortable and rustic island style. We had a nice rest. Thank you.

We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing. The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable. If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort.

Resort has alot of potential but needs upgrades. Water pressure was low and breakfast was not good for 30,000 TSH. Resturant options was limited, but the grill prawns was good. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Lovely and caring staff, we immediately felt welcome, they were helpful with the luggage, and provided late checkout. However, the building and facilities are old and outdated, air conditioning and wifi did not work.

Warning- Do not book here! Forfiet your money if you already paid. This place will destroy your vacation mood. It is under new managemrent from India who refused to take the calls from expedia to discuss my refund so I had to take 3 calls from Expedia saying he would not answer the phone. Should be closed during construction and possibly condemed. You arrive to the entire lobby fenced off with mesh the entire floor is gone. You walk over a bridge water feature but no water is on it. The water fountain going to restaurant is cracked with no water. The pool is merky and with the red light at night looks OMINOUS! WE WERE BITTEN BaDLY BY BEDBIGS! There are muddy trenches dung all over the lawn. The day bed was filthy. They locked beach access because they said it is dangerous. The website implies there is beach access. The water has local fisherman and looks very commercial and looks uninviting.

Quiet resort but peaceful. Staff are excellent and very polite. Rooms are cleaned and sprayed for insects every day. Tours are available and bookable at reception. I would stay again
