"Noisy - Drill/construction noises began at 7am from floor above which we were not warned about. Dated room. Strand of hair in the sink. Otherwise, friendly staff and nice location. Convenient carpark nearby and right outside train station. "

"Tired and dated hotel. Biggest concern was our room had a door linked to the next room which was not safe. The lock on our side did not engage properly and could have been pushed open with very little force from the room next door. In the middle of the night about 2am I was wakened by the person in the adjoining room opening their door and I thought they were trying to get into our room. As a result I did not sleep well. I reported this at reception before we left so I hope the matter is resolved."

"My room had an awful smell from the bathroom and the TV channels kept freezing, I discussed with the staff the following day, they ensured housekeeping would see to it. Housekeeping did indeed attend my room only to throw the bedcovers back, empty the bin and leave it with no bag, left all the dirty cups and didn’t replace the tea and milk, and the smell was still there! I eventually told them I want a room change which they did, but this isn’t the first time I’ve stayed here and I’ve always found housekeeping to be useless and never makeup the rooms properly."

"We had an ok stay. The hotel really could do with an upgrade, the rooms are tired looking. The breakfast was ok, although the chef doesn’t know how to cook bacon, it was inedible and almost raw. The staff we came into contact with were all friendly. The location of the hotel is in a nice spot with some rooms overlooking the sea. I’ve been to this hotel a couple of times now, I’m unlikely to return for a third time. It really is better to pay more for better accommodation. "

"Dirty carpets, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or changed in years. Had to climb over the toilet to get into the shower. One small bottle of water for two people which was very strange. Advertised as with free breakfast but was refused this. Saw house keeping put all clean towels and sheets on dirty carpets outside bedroom door and not use a trolley, disgusting!"

"I wouldn’t say the room was the cleanest, I dropped something from my case which went under the bed and oooh that hadn’t been done for a while ! I was given an access room at street level, but it was noisy, both from above and outside. My 2nd night required earplugs to be worn to get to sleep. "

"Room clean, but a lot of cobwebs at the top of the head board. Topper mattress was lumpy in the middle of the bed. Room was only cleaned on day of arrive, bin emptied on second day and cups cleaned. Recreptoon staff and bar staff lovely. Breakfast nice apart from cold coffee and toast."
