「Large, very clean room. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with great shower. Nice toilet products to use. Plentiful, tea, coffee and biscuits provided as well as a small fridge with bottled water. 「The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. 「There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. 」
