Loved this place and the people. It is a little far from main attractions, Salisbury and Stonehenge. About 10-15 miles. But it is so charming. Food is fantastic and building is historic. Be sure to have right converters for plugging things in as there are no USB ports in the rooms. No AC and we arrived during a short heat wave. Bed very comfortable and the soaking tub in the room was great for cooling down.

Dog and Gun is a place that I would visit again. From the pub food to the personal service, I can’t commend the staff enough. They were all so lovely. We were escorted to our room, given an orientation and then provided fresh milk and cookies. There were also things in the room set up that were customized to our group. So many small touches that made the stay feel personal. It was a great experience.

Sensational Stonehenge Sleepover Spot

Absolutely loved this place. Beds were very comfortable and facilities were great. Dinner and breakfast was fabulous. We used it as our base for an early morning walk to Stonehenge.

Excellent B&B accommodation

I stayed for a wedding in the local area and the accommodation was perfect for this. The staff were very nice and accommodating, the room was great and the breakfast the next morning was superb.
