"Location was close to port but only a 5-minute taxi ride from shopping mall. The room was spacious with kitchenette.The staff was wonderful, efficiency, friendly . Having a laundry was super nice.and helpful. Would definitely stay here again."

"The Mayflower was lovely. The recent refurbishment has been very successful Our room REEF was very pleasant and I found the bed very comfortable. A big shoutout to the staff. They were so welcoming, very attentive and so helpful. Hopefully we will be able to return next year."

"This hotel was excellent value. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic, and the bathroom needed modernising, but it was sufficient for my 1 night. The breakfast buffet was amazing - full english set me up for a day of cycling around the island. Again, staff were very attentive and friendly."

"Two minute walk from the high street very good location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very modern the shower was Stait of the art. Breakfast was amazing lots of choice and very tasty. We enjoyed are visit very much will definitely return definitely recommend 😁"

"The location is about as good as it gets in Hampshire. Stunning setting. The hotel is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and the rooms, although a little small, were absolutely fine for our needs. If we were being picky, the shower tray filled up with water but it may have been because there’s an optional power switch which we discovered is probably best left off. The staff were very polite, smart, helpful and welcoming. Wendy, on reception, was exceptional. She changed our restaurant booking and helped us when we needed it. There is ample parking, walks, the museum and shop and stunning views of the river. Highly recommended!"
