「The staff were very welcoming. The room was amazing. The breakfast choices were varied. My wife had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast and i had the big full english, both of which were cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. We highly recommend you stay here if you get the chance.」

「Mike and Julie, the hosts, would go out of their way for you, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were great, a good choice from the buffet, and the cooked breakfast, plenty of options - delicious! My husband and I will certainly be going back, providing his health allows. 「Nice mid-range hotel with excellent spa (best treatments we’ve had, at very fair price, though no pool). Excellent dinner in restaurant & good breakfast. Our room was on 3rd floor and, being an old building, there’s no lift. Room was ok, though a ‘standard’ double, not a queen / king. There’s no air-con, but a good floor standing fan. Good sized bathroom with large shower. We will certainly return here as the spa & food are so good. 」

「A charming stay in a beautifully restored old coaching house. This family-run hotel is warm, cozy, and full of character.
