We chose the hotel for its location, near to an event we were attending, and the fact it had air conditioning. The air conditioning worked well and we had free parking and breakfast included in the price of the room.

The room was clean, and the staff were all amazingly helpful and friendly. I appreciated having breakfast offered. While the food was great, I found the coffee really disappointing. Having free parking with plenty of spaces available was a major draw, as was the air conditioning--there were a couple of really warm days while I stayed, it helped me to stay comfortable and sleep well. There were a couple of minor things in the room that could have been spruced up: the towel hook on the bathroom door was broken, there was some minor damage to the desk, and I could feel the bed springs through the mattress topper. The air conditioning, parking, and convenient location made the stay an overall positive experience.

Having visited before, the hotel is still good value but some issues this time round..... lampshade broken, some dents in the wall and art work, a broken electrical socket in the hallway. Staff were lovely but we didn't use the hotel's amenities this time so can't comment on these. Needs a bit of TLC bit still a good hotel to be a base in MK.
