Brompton Beck. The photograph is of the northern end of the western arm of Brompton Beck and is looking toward the weir that feeds the beck from 428681. The building on the left is part of Low Hall Farm and it is also possible to make out the spire of 426956. A public footpath runs in front of the building shown and connects with 426845 near to All Saints Church 426872. Where the water appears to approach the white gate on the left it actually empties into a drain that supplies a 427836 near the to junction of 427800 with 427814. A few metres behind the viewpoint the eastern arm of the beck joins this water to flow under a bridge that takes an unnamed loop 428558 to the farm and a small group of cottages.
