Decor amazing…all finished to a high standard. Facilities were amazing. Comfort was unreal. Best power shower I’ve ever been in and we travel regularly. So chuffed with it we have booked to go again next month!

A fantastic hotel in a great location. Easy to find with ample car parking at the rear. Warm welcome at reception and friendly efficient service. Room was immaculate and very well maintained. Great night’s sleep, quiet location and comfortable bed. Breakfast was fab, staff friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and would happily stay there again. Thank you to all the staff at the Mayfield for a very comfortable stay.

Lovely Room

We only required a room as we had been visiting relatives, so cannot comment on the food, but the room was excellent, check in and check out was simple and we will definitely visit again when in the area.

My stay at the Mayfield

I have given five stars all round as it was well deserved. The bed was very comfortable, there was a wine cooler/fridge and a safe in the room, plenty of hanging and drawer space in the triple wardrobe. The room was much better than we had expected.

Perfect stay

The hotel is perfect. Attached to a pub with a little shop opposite, the staff were so friendly and the room was lovely. Bed was so comfortable and everything was very clean. Also a very short car journey into Scarborough. We will definitely return!

Fantastic place!

Amazing find. The room and bathroom were very spacious with a separate bath and shower. Incredibly comfortable beds and overall a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was very good at £10 per person and the only downside overall if I could find one was the weather and.... no ironing board, but apart from that, it was just superb.

An over night stay after visiting Scarborough, nicely welcomed by a young lady unfortunately didn’t get her name, very polite and helpful. Had a meal in the restaurant and was very nice and priced well under the current climate

Fantastic

Fantastic stay, check in was smooth and very cheerful member of staff, room was of a very high standard, with large comfy bed and amazing shower. Breakfast was superb with proper fresh ingredients. Every member of staff we interacted with was professional and very helpful. Shame it was only one night, will definitely return.

We stayed in the apartment (room 9 and 10). Great facilities although didn’t have the heed to use much of them. Would definitely stay again. Great place to stay if visiting Scarborough - leave the car there and get the bus into Scarborough.
