Unbelievable hotel, an absolute must stay, staff especially Stuart are super friendly and could not do enough for my 5 year old daughter, she was looked after like a princess and absolutely loved it, will 100% visit again! Anyone going to flamingo land staying here is a must to make the day

Absolutely fantastic can’t wait to return

We had an amazing stay it exceeded our expectations. Stayed in the Camelia Suite overlooking the outdoor pool. It had an outdoor terrace with seating. Sunday lunch was the best we’ve ever tasted and the breakfast was good produce and very tasty. All of the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention to Stuart on reception and Happiness and Mia in the restaurant. The bar staff were really good too but sadly I didn’t note their names. The whole place is immaculate and super interiors. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it.

The whole experience was really lovely. Very personable and welcoming greeting. I was shown around on check in and introduced to bar staff, lovely touch. The room was beautiful, really clean and high standard. The breakfast was exceptional. I was bragging to my friends that we’re camping nearby. The atmosphere and amenities were excellent. A lovely boutique hotel and restaurant. Beautifully decorated and equipped room (Aspen) and fabulous staff. Great dinner and breakfast. Excellent dining area overlooking a landscaped garden, with lots of extra seating on surrounding patios. Lovely small heated outdoor pool and adjacent sauna, which unfortunately we didn’t have time to try out. Maybe next time!

Fantastic get away

My wife and I had an amazing time. We had a weekend away together and would highly recommend to others. The staff were lovely and attentive and the food was delicious. The room was modern and clean and very comfy. Hopefully we can stay again in the future.

Quality from start to finish. The staff were fantastic, very attentive and polite. The room was beautifully decorated. My son loved the outdoor heated pool. The breakfast was a more than an adequate portion with fresh, well cooked produce. We loved every minute of our stay. There was a slight issue with payment (the hotel was not at fault). However, I was provided with reassurance that this would be rectified, and it was.

Beautifully presented property,decor and condition excellent,staff friendly and helpful. Evening meal was very good although expensive! Breakfast had to be chosen the night before and had limited options ie hot ok but no continental/cold options on list,I found the service lacking,not enough staff (2) to cope with the guests requirements. Unfortunate as it rather spoiled our stay.

I thought this was a fabulous, up market hotel. The rooms were fabulous, the pool gorgeous in fact everything was great. The only thing that spoiled my stay was the breakfast. The breakfast menu was extensive, but only for cooked breakfast. I don't eat cooked breakfast. I asked for cereal and toast. I was given a small box of corn flakes (no choice) 2 slices of toast and a mini jar of marmalade for us both. My partner had a cooked breakfast and therefore no cereal. There is a definite need for a continental breakfast. Otherwise amazing.

Unbelievably good in every single aspect!

I honestly can’t speak highly enough of Dewars! My daughter and me stayed 2 nights for our annual Flamingo Land trip. Every single element of the hotel, restaurant and our stay was 10/10. The location (2 min walk to Flamingo Land), the beautiful grounds, the classy heated outdoor pool, the luxurious decor (genuinely, every single cm2 stunningly and luxuriously decorated), the beautiful, high-end, yet cosy rooms with beautiful bathrooms. The last 2 need their own sentences as they were the highlights: I’m a massive foodie and go out of my way to eat in the best restaurants wherever I go - there was no need to travel very far on either evening as the hotel restaurant food was unbelievably good. The menu was very creative and quite ambitious - but my, did it deliver. Every morsel of food from breakfast to dinner on both days was exceptional - in terms of quality of ingredients, presentation, flavour and consistency! Even though everything was sooo good, I would still say that the top highlight was the service! Everyone was so genuinely kind and friendly and just couldn’t do enough for us. One lady even went to the shop to buy melon for my daughter for breakfast cos we told her how much my daughter loves melon! Thank you to all. Coming back with the whole family next year. Already looking forward to it!

A wonderful boutique hotel, exceptionally welcoming staff, spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. Food was outstanding! We were so well looked after and made to feel at home, so many personal touches from the staff, and we will definitely return and recommend to anyone!
