"The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The location is very central and easy to get around. I note that they are currently building a new metro station next door so it will be even easier in future. It’s an easy walk to the botanical gardens, the river and the bridge across to Southbank. The shower was great and the toiletries provided smelt wonderful. "

"The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and big screen TV. The separate couch was handy. The rain shower felt great after a day around the pool with plenty of pool furniture. The breakfast had many choices, and the omelettes were tasty. The staff were helpful at all times. Nice lobby bar and bar menu. Overall, an enjoyable stay. "

"We have stayed at this hotel many many times before and find the beds very comfortable and generally the rooms are decent. This time the room was in dire need of an upgrade. It did appear clean but there was a lot of mould in the grout and on the tiles. We also had 2 cars with us and they wanted to charge us $22 for the first car park and $37 for the second. The carpark was half empty. The pool has lots of mould in the tiles and there was a couple of broken ones laying around. We normally find the staff friendly and helpful but not this time unfortunately. I wonder whether because we book on Expedia we get a non upgraded room. It was also very noisy at the pool area with the building going on next door. "
