「Efficient and friendly staff, clean rooms with all the facilities you need. Evening meal and service was excellent couldn’t fault my stay would definitely recommend.」

「Although much about this property is dated, the warmth of its welcome, the high quality of its food, and the ease of parking (for £4 a day in the carpark across the road) make this a five star stay.」

「I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.」

「Nice place but the room I had was next door to a nightclub. Friday and Saturday night were really noisy. So much so that I asked to move rooms on the Saturday. To be fair this was not a problem for the staff who accommodated my request. Other than the noise late at night, no issues.」

「One of the best B&B experience for many years. Both the accomodation and the environment is unbeatable. I will stay again if going to be in the region. 」

On a positive, the location of this B&B is perfect - really close to the High Street. However, we've stayed in a lot of places, both higher and lower end, depending on our requirements, and I'm sorry to say that this is probably one of the worst places we've stayed at. 「Norma was absolutely wonderful, helpful and efficient. The accommodation was clean and tidy, shower was great. Breakfast was well varied and tasty. Evening meal was excellent. Bar and staff were good. Will be visiting again 😊」

「Good size room, lovely breakfast with amazing views and friendly helpful staff」

「Really enjoyed our stay and the Staff were excellent, as was the food. Few little tweaks, some bedroom furniture such as a drawer unit and extra plug or two. Couldnt put the table lamp on without going under the table to unplug television or kettle. Overall really pleased with our stay and will definitely stay again next year. Partner missed her marmalade at breakfast not a disaster!」
