「The Allan Park Hotel was wonderful. Parking is convenient and in the back of the property. The location is excellent for site seeing. We went for a walk in the evening and found quite a few shops and restaurants (though they were closed since we were out late). Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the food was lovely. I have a shellfish allergy and they were able to accommodate. 「The building looks very old and historic on the outside. Inside is beautiful, clean, and modern. The tub was deep and big, making for a relaxing soak at the end of the day. Lots of restaurants close by, local distillery, pubs and castle all within walking distance. There was a hot breakfast you could order plus a continental selection of pastries, yogurt, fruit. Only suggestion would be to have fresh fruit mix. The melon needed tossed and the rest looked canned.」

「We reserved a room that was advertised with a king bed. It wasn’t the reality. But it was comfortable anyway and the room was quiet. On our end we didn’t have problems for the check-in because we arrived at 3pm, but other travellers were stuck in front of a locked door at 7pm and nobody was answering the phone. It took more than an hour for them to have someone to come and do their check-in. No staff onsite at all.」

「Very dated and faded room which was in dire need of updating. (Room 215) Very 80s-esque. Small wall mounted TV, tired, stained and grubby chairs in room. Bathroom was very dated also, but clean. No sockets near bed side which was unusual. Even the hallways / corridors are dark and gloomy with the automatic lights and lack of natural light whilst walking too and from room. Wouldn't stay here again, it'd definitely be premier inn or travel lodge in Stirling in the future.」
