「The hotel is part of a historic inn which was very atmospheric. We stayed in a family room for 3 people and the room was warm and cosy and welcoming as we arrived just before 9pm and it was a bit chilly in the countryside. 「We had a lovely warm welcome on arrival and attentive service throughout our stay. Room was brilliant, lovely character and very warm and cosy. All amenities we needed for our stay. Wonderful choice of hot breakfast dishes which were cooked and presented to a high standard and accompanied by fruits, yogurt, nuts, seeds, toast, preserves etc etc. Thoroughly recommend this beautiful charming hotel and will definitely stay again when in the area. 」

「As a solo female business traveller, I really appreciate when staff go out of their way, particularly in a busy restaurant. I felt totally comfortable at The Guinness Arms. The room was lovely, a little compact ( I enjoyed hearing the owl at night!) and had great facilities with a coffee machine but no kettle. Breakfast was a real highlight. EV charger worked and set me up with a full battery for the next day. 」
