Unfortunately we only stayed one night, and did not want to leave, the house is amazing so old in places full of history and character lovely gardens, just when you think that’s enough there is a games room! Great choice of breakfast just felt so welcome, relaxing in fact we found it magical !

I liked the house, which is genuinely historic and full of character, and the garden areas with colourful plants and shrubs, a pond, a water feature, and plenty of places to sit. Terry and Lynne were welcoming and friendly, generous with their time and made me and my friends feel instantly at home. Terry cooked a very good English breakfast, and it was nice to meet other guests as we all sat round the same table for breakfast. The bed was comfortable and there was a good fan to keep the room cool in the heatwave.

Very old property, run by two lovely people, cleanliness a bit to be desired due to the above reasons, they have too much to do maintaining the house and dealing with guests Proprietors very friendly and helpful... breakfast was okay with cereal coffee and cooked available. Parking was available for about 3 or 4 cars

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen dafür aber mit sehr viel Charme. Für einen Kurzurlaub definitiv zu empfehlen. Küche und Kühlschrank durften mitbenutzt werden und der Garten war ein kleines Paradies. Einige Aufstriche beim Frühstück waren leider abgelaufen aber es gab genug alternative Auswahl.

Amazing hospitality and hotel

Amazing place to stay. Very comfortable bed and a fantastic selection of breakfast. Limited parking areas but a lovely historic little hotel. En suite and all area open to visitors. Great friendly atmosphere and lovely couple who accommodate you and who offer information of anything going on in the areas around. Had a fantastic night and breakfast.

The guest house is ideal for me when working in the area as it is within easy reach of Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury. It is in a really pleasant setting and the proprietors are really friendly and helpful.

Fantastic historic property. Lovely people. Dog friendly. Not fancy but amazing property. Walls decorated beautifully in keeping with property. Fast road outside but staying here is a glimpse into old Englands past. Tourists and visitors come here for exactly this reason not slum cities but good old English history and people who have our traditional English values and heritage. Wonderful
