「Couldn't wish for a better welcome, hosts were exactly my cuppa - laid back and relaxed at all times. Looked after well before I even got to the site and enjoyed an unexpected upgrade. Very decent breakfast to set me up also. Hope to stay there again soon!」

「I booked to stay one night with a chance I might need a second night. Room was a separate wooden chalet. Door very difficult to open. Small bathroom with shower a bit difficult to access unless you have long legs. Mirror near toilet not easy to see. Glad I didn’t need to make up. Breakfast was a bag with croissant and porridge to mix yourself and an apple. Jam, butter orange juice also provided but juice not very nice and make your own coffee from Nescafé in room. 「Large clean room with king size bed and seating area with TV, tea making facilities with fridge and large en suite. The room overlooks farmland. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked and the hosts were full of interesting information about the surrounding area.」

「Arrived to find the place locked up and had to make a phone call for someone to come to the pub to give us our room key. Apparently there was a problem of having no electricity due to the heat. No evening meal available and no bar; breakfast was average, with some folk having to wait a long time for service. The place was clean and room was comfortable.」

However just a few things that I’d like to touch on, our bed was dirty, the duvet had a urine stain on it, the hot tub was filthy and had a hose pipe that my partner nearly tripped up on and had to move to a secure place out of harms way. 「The double bed matress was really bad, probably the worst I have slept in. It has lots of potential but missed the mark on a few things. We had a double room but only 1 cup was in the room and 1 coat hanger. It had a mini fridge but wasn't working. It did have air con. Breakfast could be extended until at least 10.30 as a couple when we were there arrived at 10am to be told breakfast had finished. So as an urgent task replace all mattresses or at least Room 8」

「Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. The view from the patio was endless countryside and at night it was rural enough that there was no light pollution and could see the stars. Room was well stocked with all types of teas and coffees.
