「On a hot day, late check-in, no air conditioning, instead the baseboard heat was on. Turned the thermostat off but it stayed warm until morning. Very poorly lit premises and hallway/entrance and it stunk like musty smoke. Nothing on the website(s) indicated you have to go a half a block away to check in to get the key, and it would have been very difficult to find that place in the dark had we not randomly run into another guest. 「The staff was kind, the room was clean, and the breakfast had a wide variety of choices. I was disappointed that the description of the property and amenities were not totally transparent. I had chosen Rapid River Lodge for the waterpark. I had young children and knew it would be fun for them to play in the water. At check-in I was told the waterpark is closed, they have limited days and hours. They called to another hotel and we had the inconvenience of loading up and drive there for a pool.」

「The staff are inconsistent. And do not always accommodate needs. Rooms are not always clean. When ask for working items or clean items. (Coffee pot/bed sheets/lock on door/clean room/etc.) I was told to stop complaining or I will be kicked out. For the most part, they have tried to fix some things, but they have become rude.」

「Very nice property that is on the Main Street so it’s convenient to restaurants, bars and shopping. Only draw back was the road noise, but over all very nice」
