"A lovely apartment right in the centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. The accommodation was spotless, cleaning spray, washing up liquid and cloths were provided.
The bed was lovely and comfortable.
People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem.
If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didn’t book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. "
"Burn hows hotel is in the perfect location , easy walk to all the local amenities and on site parking. The room we were in was a little tired looking and in need of a refurb, there was a very strong and unpleasant musty smell when we entered , the room was however clean and the beds comfortable. Staff were all lovely and breakfast was very good . Enjoyed our stay . "

"Lovely guesthouse with private parking situated just 5 minutes from Bowness centre and lake ferry point etc.
Spotlessly clean with very comfortable super king bed (superior room). Nicely furnished. Added bonus was a good sized fridge and large fan which we needed as there was a heatwave.
Breakfast was delicious. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and allowed us to park up prior to check-in in as we arrived a little early. Will definitely be returning!! "
