「Had a very pleasant stay at the White Horse. Large car park with plenty of spaces, nice refurbished room in an old pub so clean and comfortable but without losing it character, excellent powerfull shower which could practically blow your nipples off and a very good range of tea and coffee in the room including decaf coffee bags. Very good fast wifi. Excellent supper in the restaurant with beautifully cooked vegetables. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay.」

「it is in the old town center and just next to the main attractive points like cathedral. as it is a building over 500 years old, so no lift but wooden stairs only (but this is the reason i stay here). Shared toilet and bathroom is good (and you can enjoy the cathedral view when you are "relaxing"). 」

「We arrived at 8.15pm and were worried we were too late to eat, bu we received a very warm welcome from a lovely young lady with long blonde hair, who told us that despite our lateness, we could check in before eating. We decided to eat straight away. The food was delicious. I had ham and leek pie with buttery mash and cabbage and my husband had ham hock, egg and hash brown chips. Our room COX was above the bar. 「Stayed on a Friday night as we were at a family do. Perfect for us. Had the twin. Both beds comfortable - one softer than the other. Had everything we needed. There's limited on site parking but wasn't an issue for us as road restrictions finish early evening and there's no restrictions on the Sunday. The owner was attentive and helpful. Information sheet was perfect. The breakfast was excellent! 」
