"Breakfast ok , fruit pot delicious, not much choice other than full english or the ingredients of fill english,or smoked salmon room was lovely, just no interaction from owners other than shouting your name through the breakfast hatch or rushing clearing tables while still eating. Property up for sale so maybe they've lost the joy in hosting "

"Lovely stop on the way to Cornwall. Gorgeously comfortable bed and linen. We arrived exhausted from a long transatlantic flight with 2 cats and the owner was so kind to us. She saved our bacon as we honestly could not have driven further! Superb breakfast and we will definitely return 💜"

"Room was very clean, staff lovely but pretty noisy. Rooms aren’t soundproofed at all (you can hear people going to the toilet as well as doors in the corridor) and the gap under the door lets light in. Very cheap and cheerful for an overnight stay. Wasn’t my worst night sleep ever but have slept better. "

"Excellent accommodation with restaurant. Menu high quality and good value. We originally planned to eat on only one of the nights of our stay but couldn’t resist a second sitting. Lucky with weather so we’re able to sit and have a drink by the pond. Cooked breakfast a bonus. Quiet setting just outside chard which was easy to find with ample parking"
