「Breakfast ok , fruit pot delicious, not much choice other than full english or the ingredients of fill english,or smoked salmon room was lovely, just no interaction from owners other than shouting your name through the breakfast hatch or rushing clearing tables while still eating. Property up for sale so maybe they've lost the joy in hosting 」

「Busy pub and there was only one member of staff working so we waited with our bags at the bar until a big order of drinks had been dealt with. The room was very comfortable, a couple of hairs in the sink. Decorated nicely with antiques. No sugar or milk in the room but we asked for some at the bar downstairs. A hair dryer would have been handy. The evening menu was limited so we dined elsewhere. The cooked breakfast was really good. We would have slept better had it not been for an energetic...

「A beautiful old Inn which was welcoming, warm and comfortable, all in keeping with the history of the building and the surrounding locale. Great food, and wonderful, attentive staff mad our stay very enjoyable. Thank you!」

「Easy check in, we'd been before and were familiar with arrangements. Staff remembered us and were friendly. Room clean, stairs steep and narrow, fortunately we didn't have a lot of luggage. Breakfast freshly made and excellent. Full bar services available. Car parking is an issue, chargeable car parks around, limited free parking if you know where to go and prepared to walk. 」

「When we walked in the room at 9.45pm the room was freezing cold, we found the radiators and turned the heating on but at 11pm the heating went off and didn’t come on again until the morning which meant we was cold all night.
