「Excellent stay. Really friendly and helpful owners. Breakfast was great (poached eggs the best I've ever had). Really helpful with ideas of where to visit, what to see and where to eat. Couple of great recommendations for food. Location is right in the heart of this small town and with pubs and restaurants within a short stroll. Electric charging onsite is a bonus!! Highly recommended」

「A truly amazing inn in the heart of Somerset. The staff are so lovely helpful and enthusiastic. the food is superb and just in the right quantity to feel full but not over full. Service is excellent and room quality superb. I cant recommend the Cotley inn enough. thank you again for a lovely stay.」

「Owner was so friendly & accommodating & the room was comfy & bright. Lively L’Occitane toiletries in the bathroom to o & quality tea, coffee, hot chocolate & biscuits in the room. Great to have milk available in the fridge at the bottom of the stairs for tea & coffee & also somewhere to store our food we’d brought with us. Breakfast was fantastic & cooked to order! Shame the pub across the road didn’t do food though! Would’ve been nice to pop across the road for dinner! Would highly recommend...

「Room was fabulous, huge bed, gorgeous bathroom, styled really differently. Food delicious & different with some delicious twists on classics. Staff lovely & attentive & helpful with where to park. Courtyard perfect for a sunny afternoon/evening 」

「Our stay at monkton court was exceptional our hosts Steve & Cara couldn’t do enough our breakfast was always bought to us the time we asked and Delicious. Steve’s poached eggs were perfect . The Maple where we stayed was very clean and bed was so comfortable. Would definitely stay again . 」

「Fabulous house bang in the middle of Axminster. Lived in Axminster for 6 years and knew where this was but not realised the size of the house. Back for the weekend to see friends, etc. This is an exquisite properly. Amazing room and cosy guest lounge so you don’t have to sit on the bed in the room. Great breakfast. Will definitely return 」
