「This was perfect for a last minute stay in Gloucester. Walking distance to the Quays. One minute from the park. Tea and coffee in the room plus a good selection for breakfast. The dining area was super modern and clean and the garden was a nice touch. Plus free parking right outside was a bonus 」

「I was In the old part and it needs updating badly. Excited when I saw a spa bath in my room but bath was worn around the plug area and not appealing so wasted. Toilet was stained with brown as old. Taps on sink worn and spun round a lot before water came out. 」

「Very friendly, helpful staff from reception to bar to restaurant. Lovely comfortable room with great character features dating back to the 1500s when the hotel was built as a wool merchant's home. All that you require in a room was provided. Ample free carparking and outside seating area and great access to the town centre for exploring the 2000+ years of history on your doorstep. If you struggle with stairs, ask dor a ground floor room as the original builders didn't install a lift. Any attempt...

「The 5-night stay was overall comfortable, although there was an issue with controlling the temperature of the hot water shower. It would occasionally become scalding during showers. It would also be wonderful if breakfast could include some fruit. Other than these minor points, it was a delightful stay. When we arrived in the late afternoon, the reception gentleman kindly helped my daughter and me carry our luggage to the room on the 2nd floor.」
