「They had no staff to help with unloading the luggage or to parking the car. They only had one restaurant open while the others were closed. The rooms were old and worn out. It was a terrible place to stay.」

「Enjoyed my stay here. Good location easy to get to main Madison district and good view of the river. Exterior looks dated but don’t let that put you off as the rooms are renewed and have high quality towels and bedding. Helpful staff and I really enjoyed the comfortable recliner in the room after riding a motorcycle through the area all day. I would definitely stay here again.」

「Experience was good for single male. Reservation, check-in were excellent. Location was good just off I71. A/C was excellent. Room was clean but we'll used with some visible mold in bath area. Floor needed to be replaced. Breakfast was basically non existent. Coffee, pastry and banana.」

「This is a very unique, historic hotel overlooking the scenic banks of the Ohio River. The room was cozy, clean and very comfortable. I also appreciated the second-floor balcony, which provided a lovely view of the river, as well as the complementary tea/coffee supplies. I highly recommend this traditional hotel, especially for history lovers and explorers in search of memorable experiences!」
