The hotel manager Jennifer was very helpful and worked very hard to make our stay comfortable. She even got up at 4:30am to make sure we had breakfast before we left for the airport. We really appreciated it. Also, the Halloween decorations were over the top. Belvidere is such a nice historical town. We enjoyed walking around and seeing the sites.

Very cute quaint place. Historic and fun!! We stayed an additional night. The hostess lives on site however not easy to contact… not sure where she will be in the building… you can text so that is convenient. We would stay again if in the area. Breakfast is pastries, bagels, toast and fruit. Monday the town is pretty much closed.

This hotel is lovely. We were in town for a wedding October 9th and my brother's and sisters were all able to be together in the hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was above and beyond what we expected. The holiday decorations ( fall & Halloween) were tastefully done and the hotel itself is stunning. The manager Jennifer was very attentive and communication with her and the hotel was excellent. She certainly knows how to run the hotel and clearly cares for her guests. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

Beautiful historic building. The rooms were a little on the cool side, but there were enough blankets for us. You can’t control the heat. It took a while for the hot water to come up in the morning. Her decorations for Halloween were wonderful.

Place is a gem in historical Belvidere. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was like new. Jen’s communication was amazing and she was super sweet. Lots of choices for the continental breakfast. Everything of interest was walkable from the hotel. We will definitely come back even if it’s for a getaway for no reason and we don’t live far!

The office closes at 9 which isn’t explained at Expedia with no way to message the hotel thru the app about a late check in. Breakfast was grab and go cold food. It was ok for a night to try and sleep… but thin walls and basic amenities as they are, I wouldn’t recommend a romantic stay. It’s charming and historic… but hvac needs help, owners are aware
