「This is a lovely place to stay in Charlottesville. The rooms and lobby are fantastic. We enjoyed the arboretum behind the hotel. The staff is helpful and I love the ability to text requests. The food was a bit disappointing this time compared to previous stays. Nobody staffing the espresso machine and no other options close by. Breakfast was pricey and mediocre. 」

「Property is very convenient to the University of Virginia and in a quiet and pretty neighborhood. Staff is extremely helpful and there’s a nice bar, quiet and beautiful swimming area, and cafe on the property. Rooms are a little dated and fairly sparse. Would have given five stars if not for the rooms.」

「Room was clean. Common areas such as elevators and hallway carpet needed cleaning. Ran out of milk at breakfast, so no cereal to start tge day. Exercise room was clean and well equipped. 」

「Way better than expected. This place was better than my first apartment. I only stayed one night but I was super impressed with how efficiently the large space was used. The rooms were twice the size of another downtown hotel and cheaper too. 」

They were even doing some renovations of some rooms, but noise and inconveniences were minimized. The property oozes of a management team that takes pride in a well presented property. Our only two small downsides that kept us from five star ratings was minimal change up of breakfast options each day (noticeable since we stayed multiple nights) and an odor in our room that...
