「Our room was hazy - almost smokey without the smoke smell. Concerned, we asked about it. Staff said there was an odor from the previous guest, so they used some sort of ionizer to eliminate it. I don't know what the odor in question was, but the room stank anyways. The ionizer (chemical) odor permeated everything, which is impressive as it overbore the usual stink that is Lewiston thanks to the mill. Road noise is loud, not unexpected due to location, but worth noting. 」

My wife got bug bites next morning. And the swimming pool was freezing. The hot tub was so dirty, the dead skin floating .we booked a non-smoke room, but once we opened the door, the serious smoke right into our face. 「We had a problem getting the tv to work. The front desk promptly sent a person to fix the problem. Room was good, mattress comfortable.」

「The staff was wonderful. My room was "okay". There were old French fries with a dab of ketchup under the bathroom sink. My dog found the fries in a hurry. There were also fruit flies living under the rim of my bathroom sink, undoubtedly in some mold that inhabits there. There was no ironing board and one promised never came. The tiny dirt patch to potty dogs can be tough when people don't clean up after themselves. Not the hotel's fault but there is no other place to potty them.」
