"Beautiful little hotel at the edge of the old town. Easy access to the main roads but also walking distance to the old centre. The staff was so friendly and helped us out with parking, refreshments and a nice conversation every day. The room was small but decorated with style and the upper terrace was a nice place to end the day with a view over the water . We would highly recommend."
"Stayed in December
Staff are excellent and lean over backwards to help.
Accommodation I was everything required and was qyiet even though it’s a busy location with lots of good bars and restaurants to choose from.
Location is fantastic for all the big tourist sites, no more than 15 minutes even for pier for Bosporus cruises or the Topkapi palace.
Would be my first choice when I return to Istanbul."
"The property has a unique decorative style with small Moroccan looking lamps hanging from the ceiling. Rafa, the hotel manager, is super nice and competent. Breakfast is perfectly Turkish simple, basic and delicious. The whole boutique hotel is decorated with antiques. Thank you Rafa for everything!!!"
"Very small property, a few blocks from the major sites in Sultanhet. Loved it!
Gracious staff. Breakfasts were amazing- they covered my table for 4 with a wide variety breakfast foods.
Well priced, clean, safe, great location - this hits all of my requirements."

"We had a fabulous time!!
The staff were exceptional, the pool, food and the spa were all amazing!
Every part from our trip from beginning to end was wonderful. They picked us up in a luxurious Mercedes-Benz, which looks like a van on the outside, but then it was a beautiful orange leather interior with a starlet roof.
We arrived early in the morning hours, we shared the wonderful news about our engagement a week earlier, they gave us a fabulous upgrade.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing! A huge variety of options to eat From!
Definitely hoping to come back here when we come back to Istanbul! "
"The hotel is clean, people are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is on the good area in old city, very Turkish, a lot of restaurants around, markets, shops. I had the breakfast included, it was colorful, delicious, have savory, sweet, fruits and everything that a person is looking to eat in the morning. I highly recommend it. Hotel offers all info for trips also."
"Comfortable spacious and pretty quiet room given the location in a very touristy street. Staff at the front desk were very helpful with advice and assisting with booking a boat tour and airport transfers. "
"Great location, right next to the Blue Mosque and in old town. Very charming hotel was an old palace. Very nice front yard with fountain and vistas the back yard with many seatings overlooking the water with great views. A hidden jewel. The breakfast buffet was included serviced in a wonderful sitting "
"Hotel was very comfortable. The room was very nice and spacious. Beautiful view. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.Rooftop restaurant was very nice. Great 4-day stay."
"The Armada Istanbul Old City Hotel was an excellent choice for our first visit to Istanbul. It is within walking distance of many of the major sites to see--the Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, and many hammams. In addition, there are tons of restaurants and cafes nearby. However, this is a very touristy area, with high-pressure hawks inviting you to come into their shop or restaurant, and we found this to be very tiring. It was a good location for our first visit, but if we were coming back, we would choose a hotel in a different area to get a more authentic experience. The hotel itself was wonderful, with a stunning view of the Hagia Sofia from the patio, and excellent service."
