「This is a great little hotel hidden away on the beach about 15 min from the airport. It’s not in a tourist area, residential all around it, but it’s nicely done, right on the water, and there’s vibe is super welcoming. 「I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked. 「If you are older (60+), family with a small child, or burnt out and need a quiet no frills getaway- this is the spot. If you’ve looking for day parties and a turn up crowd- this ain’t the place. You can see the property is “seasoned” and the staff is fairly nice. I will also say - beware of going at this time of the year if you’re a beach lover - there is a big seasonal seaweed problem that happens every year and it makes the water unusable. 「I was given a horrible room on ground floor looks like it was flooded in recent weeks..sheets dingy and even had stains..I complained they said I paid for basic. I was going to look for another hotel but then they moved me to a better room. Breakfast was also not worth the price poorly prepared. Would not go back!」
