The property itself was nice but the fact the mat we checked in at 8pm and our room still wasn’t ready was a big problem. We weren’t the only ones still waiting and we were attending a concert nearby so we had to change in a conference room. The hotel clerk was very patient and calm with the chaos but it was definitely an experience we won’t forget. Not sure about booking there again.

Location was perfect and rooms were clean. Only problem I had was I booked two seperate rooms, we arrived about 5pm and had to wait for ONE room as two weren’t available right away. The second room wasn’t ready til about 8pm.. if check in is at 4 then rooms should be ready..

This hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, but in reality it feels closer to a 2-star experience. Not sure why Expedia allows this kind of misrepresentation. They also claim to offer valet service, but there was no one available at any point during my stay—so don’t count on that. If you’re expecting anything resembling luxury or convenience, you’ll be disappointed. The only reason to stay here is if you’re trying to save money and are okay with very basic accommodations. Otherwise, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

My only issue with this hotel was the staff. Not all staff, but it was enough for me to write this review. My family and I were not greeted and when we asked questions they were instantly met with attitude. The awful attitude of certain staff made our experience less enjoyable.

So many things went wrong during this stay. When we arrived it was difficult to know where to park for the valet. I know the parking is 3rd party but I had to call the front desk to assist me and the valet was in the lobby and still did not come outside. I did not notice until the morning that there was no shower curtain in the bathroom and I didn’t have enough towels. I called the front desk and the staff said they would notify engineering and housekeeping. After waiting an hour I called the front desk again. The housekeeping staff handed me the shower curtain and towels. That unfortunately was the last time housekeeping came to my room. My trash was not emptied once during my 3 night stay. Towels left on the floor were still there when I checked out. The hotel manager was very kind and professional and apologetic about the issues that I experienced. I have stayed at a Sonesta property in the past but I am not sure if I would take my chances again.

The check in process was okay at first. Representative at the desk was friendly and nice but they gave us a room that was not cleaned or serviced. They were able to clear up the mistake fast but it put a bad taste in our mouth. The hotel still has carpet so the hallways smell like mildew. Room was okay but the shower does need to be updated. The convenience of this place to venue was the major plus.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. There is a restaurant attached and the food was good. There was an unusual kitchen surcharge that I didn’t quite understand until layer. And unfortunately the room did not have any regular coffee stocked and I didn’t realize it was only decaf until the next morning. I also didn’t quite figure out how to regulate the temperature in the despite some instructions on the thermostat. It was fine for an overnight stay.

Very friendly and attentive staff who were happy to store my bag and would say good morning and welcome me back by name, which was nice. I didn't spend much time in the hotel, but the room was clean and overall I had a fine experience. The room doesn't have a microwave, and there's no bottled water or water station, but I didn't find it to be a big deal. The location is decent and I felt safe enough returning at night, but I did keep the shades closed because my room was on a low floor visible from the street.
