There were Karacas all over the place and it was extremely dirty, the door didn’t even close fully, the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in over a month as there was food under the bed.

This was a mixed bag experience bc the hotel is in the process of updating/renovating the entire hotel. I believe once completed (we stayed April 13 & 14, 2024) it will be a stellar location. Our room was very clean and appeared newly done. Rm was away from any roads and was very quiet, no outside noise and only heard people when they walked by our door. I did not know that a standard Queen room would not include a refrigerator or microwave. It had 2 desk chairs but no desk, no luggage rack so difficult to open luggage except on the bed. We pushed the 2 desk chairs together to open one roll-on suitcase. Front office said new racks were expected any day. The deadbolt didn't lock; when the power went off then on, we couldn't get the clock time to reset; the TV remote would not control the sound or mute so it was too loud when we checked in later in evening so we didn't watch it until the next day when a young man replaced the remote for us (very quickly!).Check in was quick and efficient after short line was caught up when receptionist returned from bathroom break. (Not his fault if short staffed and many check in at once:) Be aware the drive way into the hotel is not easy to locate on a busy corner between an ARCO station and Arby's Roast Beef business. The Mexican restaurant on the same corner is worth the easy walk from the hotel. You can also walk to the Buck Owens Crystal Palace music house & restaurant when it is open. The outside hallways and bannisters needed cleaning.

This La Quinta was awful! No coffee maker, no refrigerator or microwave just an empty cabinet. One hand towel for two people. Peeling paint, scary jarring elevator with handwritten paper floor number. Just a few pillows, no breakfast when leaving before 7am. We arrived at 3:30pm after driving from Phoenix AZ and had to wait half an hour to check in because their WiFi was down. They did not seem to care except for their own inconvenience. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Do not stay here!

The 1st room they gave us was a shared room. We unlocked a mystery door and there was another family sleeping there with a dog! We immediately closed the door and walked to the front office to get another room that wasn't sharing an access door with another room. That 2nd room was okay. It was already midnight so we decided to get some rest and hope that nothing weird happened at night so we could wake up the next morning and continue our journey back home. Overall this wasn't too bad but it wasn't up to the standard of the traditional La Quinta hotels.

The property is located next to a homeless tent camp. The rooms smelled of cigarettes and wet dogs. The uncarpeted floor was filthy. The washroom shower was dirty, as was the sink. There was no fridge or microwave, and only one towel. Beds had ancient sheets and blankets. Dont stay here if you like clean and safe.

There is no refrigerator in any room. Place seens very unsafe . The king suite was huge, so that was nice. It's also right next door to Ihop and Dennys. But, neither tv worked properly, the drain plug in the bathtub was out and just laying in the tub, the paint job in the bathroom looks like they hired my 10 yr old to do it and the microwave didnt work. Also...the outside door closest to our room that is supposed to remain locked 24/7 wouldn't even close, let alone lock.
