"Elite club status is a must for this resort. We found out it was not an option for us once we were at resort because we booked through Expedia. Which meant no special arrangements for celebrations that we came to celebrate and no ocean view rooms. We have stayed at othe riu's in past and booked though Expedia and enjoyed ocean view rooms so this was a disappointment that guests were segregated by the way they booked this resort. Everything else about the resort was great aside not being eligible for elite club benefits due to the way we booked our trip. We were told we could only be elite club if we booked direct or with a travel agent not through a third party like Expedia, very disappointed with this!"

"Plenty lounge chairs, Cabanas at no cost, friendly staff. Rooms were clean and serviced twice a day. Either garden view or ocean view room a good choice as you're usually out and about. Upgrade for the Reserve side well worth it, with access to a private lounge, pool, and restaurant, along with check in and concierge. (Shout out to Roberto, our bartender in the reserve lounge!) Quite resort, shuts down by 10P.M. only drawback, Reserve lounge open until 11. Several restaurants to choose from, all were good. "

Whether it was help with logistics or just a friendly "Hola" by the pool, their hospitality made us feel right at home. • Top-Notch Security: As travelers, peace of mind is everything. The security here is rigorous and professional, making the resort feel like a private, safe sanctuary. • Excellent Amenities: The pools are stunning (perfect for those post-sightseeing dips!), and the resort facilities are exceptionally well-maintained. We spent our evenings relaxing with a glass of wine, soaking in the views of the Pacific. • Prime Location: Being tucked right next to the Marina meant we could easily transition from the quiet of the resort to the energy of the city streets and boat tours. Final Verdict: Playa Grande offers the best of both worlds—it's close enough to the action of the Marina but secluded enough to feel like a true escape. We’re leaving with a phone full of memories and a very high recommendation for anyone visiting the Baja!"

"The staff were amazing; polite, incredibly friendly and engaging. the rooms spotless, the property well groomed and cared for. Absolutely no complaints other than the signs indicating what the food in the restaurants were, were too small a font size for my old eyes;) Otherwise perfection at this resort. Well worth it!"
