「Nice experience」

「Fabulous small family run hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room as a good size and we had a large balcony overlooking the town & sea off to the left. The breakfast was amazing with a good choice and fresh fruit and a light cooked breakfast prepared fresh if wanted. Locations ideal for walking into town and up to Castelmola. 「Overall a nice stay. The property itself is very dated and needs a renovation/upgrade. But the service at breakfast, and the views from the upgraded rooms are great. Standard rooms are not great. Reception staff average. Gym needs more weights/equipment (but decent room). Some small improvements (aside from a total refresh/renovation) would make a huge difference.」

「Nice and quiet spot surrounded by beautiful gardens. Rooms were very clean with nice interior. Dined at the restaurant for dinner which was delicious and breakfast was generous. 「This hotel was a "wow" all around. The photos don't do it justice: 1) The area: the town it was in is super cute. Everyone knows one another in the area. Views of Etna were incredible. Just a very beautiful region of sicily. 2) The service: the front desk helped us book a helicopter tour of etna. 「Hotel is amazing, so many antiques and curiosity’s to look at. Very much old fashioned style. Stunning views, quiet location. Book an Etna view room as away from the road. Lots of choice for breakfast and the hotel restaurant just up the road, La Caverna is wonderful. From the pool, reception and the restaurant staff I really can’t fault them. This really is a wonderful hotel. A short walk up a hill is Castelmola for beautiful shops bars and lovely for a drink in the evening. Bus stop outside...
