A wonderful stay! We spent three nights there and would have loved to stay longer. The hotel is situated on a vast property with beautifully manicured gardens. The pool is huge. The beach is just a few meters away and easily accessible. The food and service were excellent. We would return without hesitation!

I didn’t want to leave! This is a beautiful hotel with what feels like botanical gardens, an amazing pool and right on the beach with Etna always visible. The staff are all super friendly from reception, to the pool bar to the wine bar, and can help to book taxis. The pool and main restaurant served great food and if you want a cheaper meal there is a local restaurant next door on the beach. It is quite remote if you don’t have a car so ensure to book taxis early as they are pricey. We walked to Naxos along the beach where you have to wade through a river but it was less than an hour. Calatabiano train station is a difficult walk so worth getting a taxi

Really beautiful property. The pool was a nice perk. The room was very spacious. I would suggest maybe a robe and slippers for guest. I have no complaints though. The staff were very friendly, food tasted wonderful and it was only maybe 15 minutes from Taormina.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The Castello San Marco really is charming! The property is beautiful, the room was extremely spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic, and we can't say enough about how lovely the staff was! Alexandra and Flavia were so wonderful and helpful with everything we asked for. We would stay there again any time!

We had a really lovely stay for 2 nights at this hotel. We stayed in an executive junior suite, it was the renovated room in the photos. The pool was very big and the grounds of the hotel are beautiful. Had a nice dinner at the restaurant and great cocktails at the bar. The hotel had an event on each night which was a bit noisy at times but it didn’t bother us at all, was fun to see what was going on. There’s a nice little casual seafood restaurant a short walk away if you wanted a change from the hotel. Breakfast omelette was good. The hotel doesn’t offer complementary drinking water (other than one bottle on arrival) so recommend stocking up before you arrive (or a short drive to local supermarket in Giardini Naxos). The beach is not a pretty sandy beach, we visited once but it was so painful under foot we didn’t return. Would highly recommend the hotel for a relaxing couple of nights.

Wonderful stay

Absolutely charming - the perfect combination of modern resort amenities with old world ambience and sophistication. Only thing I would change is the menu at the restaurant. Would have ate there every night if the food wasn’t all so gourmet. Instead had to find other places in town for something more casual and traditional

Lovely stay

The hotel is wonderful, set in beautiful grounds, very close to an enormously long, albeit unguarded and not well-maintained beach. Convenient for trips to Taormina and Mount Etna, but set on a quiet and secluded area. The restaurant on site is nice, and the one across the road by the beach is great, with friendly staff, good food and reasonable prices.

Relaxing week in Sicily

Lovely quiet setting. Very close to the beach. Great restaurant. Beautiful gardens. Very helpful and charming staff although, by the pool, sometimes hard to find staff or towels. A pack of hotel information in the room would have been useful - restaurant times/bar times/telephone number for reception & room service/local facilities etc.
