「Very friendly staff, given an assigned parking space, a few steps to the beach. Seperate balconies for each room.and the rooms were in good condition very clean and well maintained. Its centrally located near a few shops. Its a nice place. 」

「It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. 」

「Our room was clean and in good condition. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection: eggs, sausages, toasts, bagels, waffles, etc. Unlimited coffee and hot chocolate. The staff at the desk was friendly and helpful!」

「Great location right in the center of Charleston. The hotel history was very unique. Had a fantastic sleep in the room. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Had a great dinner and also a breakfast for ourselves and friends in the morning. Grounds had a flea market that was fun to walk around. Will be back next summer!」
