I had another room room on the smoking floor and it was a pretty strong odor. Just be careful of what you're booking when making your reservations. "Great hotel. Coffee and tea set up in the room is amazing! Comfy bed and pillows. For some maybe little bit on the firmer side for the mattress but for me it was perfect. Very convenient location, 10 minutes from all to so many amazing places. Pretty spacious bathroom. The only thing as per most Japanese hotels, if you have large suitcases it will be very tight to put it to open. But since we only had car try in it was perfect. Definitely will come back"
